DNA-encoded library (DEL) technologies are gaining acceptance as a fast and robust approach to discover binders to a protein of interest.  Several technologies have been reported to access DEL.  At the core of these nucleic acid encoding technologies is the ability to prepare diverse small molecules with their nucleic acid tags.  To this end, peptide nucleic acids (PNA) stand out for their synthetic compatibility.  Several examples from my lab covering small molecules, peptides, carbohydrates libraries will be presented.
